We’re Growing Stronger: A New Space for a Brighter Future
On May 1, Girls Inc. of the Valley proudly unveiled our newly renovated program space — a vibrant, welcoming environment designed to inspire and uplift the next generation of leaders. This exciting milestone kicks off Girls Inc. Week 2025 and leads into our network-wide day of giving, Girls Inc. Together, on May 8.
This year, we’re rallying our community around a critical issue: youth mental health. We know that girls are facing mounting challenges to their emotional well-being — and we’re committed to being part of the solution.
As part of Girls Inc. Week, we’re joining forces with over 70 Girls Inc. affiliates across the U.S. and Canada to build a more balanced, sustainable future for all kids. Here at Girls Inc. of the Valley, we’re celebrating our girls’ achievements — past, present, and future — by continuing to invest in supportive spaces where they can thrive.
At our May 1st celebration, guests toured our new Teen Center and Maker’s Space and heard powerful words from keynote speaker and award-winning children’s author, Lesléa Newman. It was a joyful, energizing event that reminded us of the impact we can make when we come together.
We invite you to be part of this movement. Girls Inc. Together — A Day of Giving takes place on May 8, but donations are being accepted now to support our mission. Your gift helps us expand access to high-quality, research-based programs — including essential mental health and wellness support — for youth across the Valley.
Special thanks to our event sponsors: bankESB, BonaVita Aesthetics, Comcast, Keiter Construction, Latka Printing, PeoplesBank, Sourcepass, and The Collins Companies. With your support, we are growing strong — together.
