Liberty Bank Foundation Invests in STEM Opportunities for Girls Inc. Youth
Girls Inc. of the Valley is proud to announce a $10,000 grant from the Liberty Bank Foundation Inc. to support Eureka!, a signature STEM and college-access program designed for middle- and high-school girls. This five-year program blends hands-on STEM learning with personal development, career exploration, and mentorship, helping youth build confidence and envision themselves in high-demand fields.
Through workshops, summer intensives on local college campuses, externships, and one-on-one mentorship, Eureka! provides transformational opportunities that broaden participants’ academic and professional horizons. With the Liberty Bank Foundation’s support, Girls Inc. of the Valley will continue expanding access to these experiences for youth across Hampden County and beyond. As Executive Director Suzanne Parker shared, this investment helps young people “see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and leaders.”
Founded in 1997, the Liberty Bank Foundation has a long history of supporting organizations that strengthen communities through education, housing, and essential services. Their mission aligns closely with Girls Inc. of the Valley’s commitment to inspiring all youth to be strong, smart, and bold. “These teens are our future,” noted Liberty Bank President and CEO David Glidden, a sentiment that underscores the impact of this partnership and the promise it creates for the next generation.
