Girls Inc. of the Valley celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated headquarters in Holyoke on Thursday.

The newly renovated facility, located at 480 Hampden Street, aims to help young people grow up strong, smart and bold. The transformation was made possible by a successful fundraising campaign that secured $7.25 million, marking a major step in expanding opportunities for girls across the region.

Girls Inc. of the Valley Executive Director Suzanne Parker, stated that the project represented more than just a renovation. “This building represented so much more than a renovation; it was a powerful investment in the future of the young people we serve. Because of our community’s support, we are expanding access to life-changing programs that help girls grow up strong, smart and bold.”

With its expanded space and resources, Girls Inc. of the Valley has increased its reach across Holyoke and surrounding communities. The organization is expanding its evidence-based programming and deepening partnerships with local organizations.
