Meet Keishly, one of our Program Facilitators at Girls Inc. of the Valley. Keishly’s journey with Girls Inc. began as a participant when she was in middle school. Over the next five years, she went from being a participant to an intern and eventually joined the team as a Program Facilitator! Having experienced Girls Inc. programming firsthand, Keishly knows just how much of a difference it can make. Once a quiet and shy student, she credits her time at Girls Inc. of the Valley with helping her come out of her shell, build friendships, and become more confident in herself. Now, she’s excited to help the next generation of girls do the same.

One of Keishly’s favorite parts of her role is watching participants discover what they’re capable of, whether it’s raising their hand for the first time, making new friends, or trying something outside their comfort zone. She believes everyone has their own unique strengths and loves encouraging girls to recognize theirs. Keishly also enjoys collaborating with her coworkers and being a part of a team that means so much to her.

Outside of work, Keishly loves spending time at the beach, shopping, and exploring her creative side with Canva. She’s also an aspiring entrepreneur who hopes to open her own business one day.
