Ruth Roy, Campaign Director
Ruth says that true leadership means “giving people the tools they need, good direction, room to grow, and a safe place to make mistakes and learn.” Ruth’s favorite part about her job is the opportunity to get to know people and make a difference. With this knowledge in mind, it makes perfect sense that Ruth wanted to be a TV news reporter when she was a child. Ruth loves to travel, and although she sites Italy as her favorite vacation, she says that Hawaii was the best place she’s ever traveled because “it felt like you were in a different world, yet were still in the United States.” At home in Chicopee, MA, Ruth says she’s happiest when she’s spending time with friends or family – which usually involves food!
