As a Middle and High School Program Facilitator, Lyric most enjoys interacting with the youth, who “truly embody what it means to be strong, smart and bold.” In fact, Lyric plans to one day direct an anti-racist pre-school of their own, where they can continue being an unapologetically Black, queer, and trans role model and educator. If they weren’t working with children, Lyric would want to be a tattoo artist! Lyric is a lover of music and a vocalist, they even have a tattooed portrait of their favorite singer/songwriter, Kehlani. In their free time, you can find Lyric singing in a local Pride chorus, holiday caroling in the winter, or dying their hair!
