Dear Friends,

I am pleased to serve as a board member of this truly wonderful, girl-centered organization, Girls Inc. of the Valley, which focuses on the development of the whole girl. Girls Inc.’s programs nurture the same life skills that I not only fought for but also drew upon back in 1975 when I became the first person to file a gender discrimination lawsuit under Title IX.

We need to continue to ensure equal opportunities for all girls, especially those most in need. In order to do this Girls Inc. of the Valley is undertaking a campaign to raise $5 million over the next five years in order to grow and serve hundreds of additional girls throughout the Valley each year.
