In November, our girls got a one-day whirlwind tour of three Boston colleges: Northeastern University, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, plus the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science.

They loved checking out the studios at Mass Art and the labs at the College of Pharmacy. But they were especially won over by Northeastern—since they became “little sisters” that day of the Kappa Delta (KD) sorority there.

The young women of KD guided the girls across campus and shared the scoop on everything from how college is different from high school to how to pick a major. “Our girls know UMass Amherst pretty well, and its rural setting,” said Eureka! Director Meghan Bone. “But we wanted to show them some urban schools, too, with a different focus. It was a great day.”
